Target Market
Dolce & Gabbana consists of two brands: Dolce&Gabbana and D&G. Both cater to different markets. Dolce&Gabbana showcases products to suit the discriminating taste of the high elite society and those people who wants to add luxurious items that are timeless on their collection. With D&G it's more of a hip and for the younger generation who wants to wear comfortable and best quality shirts, clothes and accessories.
Given the fact that both two brands from Dolce & Gabbana are quite expensive it would be much difficult for people to buy one product. However, if you are keen enough to do a little bit research you will still find Dolce & Gabbana items either on a discount or on a cheap price.
Style
Dolce & Gabbana has two fashion lines namely: Dolce&Gabbana which is spelled out with not spaces in between this is distinguished from the name of the company itself, and D&G.
Dolce&Gabbana is more of creating luxurious items that are "timeless" and formal. It specifically designs items that will last for a long time surpassing those seasonal changes in fashion. Under this brand are purses, sunglasses, clothes, ready-to-wear, and watches.
D&G showcases a casual line with an urban inspiration. This brand is more of setting trends rather following the trend. It is more of a hip and younger brand. |
